Own production
NDF has its own SMD line, allowing us to produce and assemble customer-specific LED modules on our premises. This allows us to quickly anticipate your demand.
In addition to manufacturing, NDF is specialised in designing LED boards. We are able to advise you on using the right LEDs for your specific application.
Light guide materials are also essential for a luminaire. NDF will advise you on the best PMMA material for your product. We have knowledge of important aspects such as optical transmission, gloss level and weather and radiation resistance.
Conformal coating
Since mid-2020, NDF has a coating robot at its disposal, allowing LED boards to be provided with a conformal coating. Conformal coating is used to protect boards from corrosion and other external influences (such as moisture and dust) and are applied, for example, in ATEX (explosion-proof) environments.
Size, shape and colour
NDF works from a so-called ‘modular product platform’. Because we use existing building blocks, we can quickly design customer-specific LED modules. Our in-house production enables us to realise delivery times of 3 weeks (or less), for low quantities and at attractive prices.
Using our own measuring equipment, we can then perform lifetime and photometry tests.
ESD safe
Our products are manufactured and assembled in an ESD safe environment.
